Cars can't actually drive on this road. If you look at the top of this picture you can see the blocks in front of the parked cars.

All of the towns and villages and cities had streets like this when I was growing up and some still do and they are driven on every day. Some of the newer towns that have grown like crazy and who originally covered up their brick streets have not torn them up and have "new" brick streets. I like your photo.
